Because Mom matters, too.

After a baby arrives, everyone wants to know how the baby is sleeping, how the baby is eating, and when they can come meet the baby.

But there's another question we need to keep asking:

How is Mom? Really?

The Mom Check was created around one simple idea: motherhood shouldn't make the mother invisible.

We're here to encourage people to check in, show up, listen, and find tangible ways to support mothers during postpartum and beyond.

Not just once. Keep checking.

  • ASK HER.

Not just “How's the baby?” Ask how she is doing — and actually listen.

  • SHOW UP.

Bring dinner. Send coffee. Fold laundry. Hold the baby while she showers.

  • CHECK AGAIN.

Don't disappear after the first few weeks. Keep checking tomorrow, next week, and next month.

THIS IS JUST THE BEGINNING.

The Mom Check is starting with one simple mission: make sure mothers aren't forgotten after baby arrives.

We're starting small — raising awareness, sharing real ways to show up for moms, and building a community that believes caring for the baby should include caring for Mom, too.

As we grow, our goal is to turn that message into tangible support for postpartum mothers and families.

One Mom Check at a time.

NEED SUPPORT?

The Mom Check is here to remind mothers that they matter, too. Sometimes, though, a check-in isn't enough.

If you or someone you love needs additional postpartum support, we've gathered trusted resources to help you find information, community, and professional care.
