Postpartum Support & Resources

Sometimes a check-in isn’t enough. If you or someone you love needs additional support, these trusted resources are here to help you find connection, information, and care.

  • Postpartum Support International — Support groups, peer support, provider resources, and help finding local postpartum support.
  • National Maternal Mental Health Hotline — Free, confidential support 24/7 by call, text, or chat. Call or text 1-833-TLC-MAMA (1-833-852-6262). Trained counselors can listen, provide resources, and connect moms with local or telehealth care.
  • HRSA Healthy Start — Programs supporting mothers and families before, during, and after pregnancy, including community-based services.
  • La Leche League International — Breastfeeding and human-milk-feeding information and peer support.
  • Your OB/GYN or primary-care provider — Encourage moms to contact their own healthcare team when something doesn't feel right physically or emotionally.

The Mom Check is a community initiative, not a medical or mental-health provider. These resources are provided to help connect mothers and families with established sources of support.
